The SWVA platform urges the Victorian Government to support the south-west through:

• A new $1 billion Regional Growth and Liveability Fund — split between economic development and productivity projects, and community infrastructure and liveability projects.
• Economic development and job creation — including childcare and early years support, local industry investment, workforce attraction, housing and industrial land activation.
• Community infrastructure and liveability upgrades — including health and wellbeing support, recreation hubs, community facilities and tourism investment.
• Better transport connections — including improved train services, highway and arterial road upgrades, regional road maintenance and a dedicated local roads fund.
